Below are photos of the blind hill on pedestrians property over which the bikers were racing for the previous week, and immediately before the incident, with 40mph+ reckless blind hill cresting. Any car coming up at the same time on the opposite side would have killed the bikers, and the bikers would have killed any pedestrian or horseback rider on the other blind side of the hill as they crested. A bike hitting a pedestrian is the same as that bike being dropped on the pedestrian from 30 feet high!
Bikers were cresting the hill pictured below at 40mph + for a week (covering 130 feet in 2 seconds, or over 60 FPS). In only a 35 mph crash, the human brain goes from weighing 3 pounds to over 75 pounds. In a head on with a car, bikers not only would have broken their necks, but if the car was going over 30, literally lost their heads, as the head weighs over 250 pounds even at those relatively low speeds.
Please note that according to both the Town and the County, this is a PRIVATE road, is on PEDESTRIAN'S PROPERTY, and must be insured by pedestrian. Pedestrian is LIABLE for any accidents that happen on his property! Bikers were therefore riding at reckless high speeds on pedestrian's PRIVATE property, yet despite the disparity of force, were not cited!
